Monday Night Crew Ponders the Challenges of Zero

Many a gamer and Mega Man fan have fallen prey to the challenge presented in the Mega Man Zero titles. Fortunately, Mega Man Zero Collection presents a viable alternative to playing the games in their original format, but…

…as Monday Night Crew shows (warning: foul [albeit accurate] language), some people may prefer not to take the easy way out.
You can find more of the Monday Night Crew’s thoughts on steep challenge in games here.

It reminds me when I was playing the originals ZERO games on the GBA, and when some friend came saying “hello, how are you?” or something, my only default answer was ” …busy..”
Sounds like Cartman, saying the f word several times in the same sentence
Hm…
Mega Man Zero is definitely really hard, but blaming Mario for not doing what he tells you is something I stopped doing when I turned five years old.
I’m really hating this web comic series.
@Martze: I don’t think anyone ever really stops doing that. Perhaps you use other derivatives such as “I HIT THE BUTTON, GRAAAAAAAAH” and so.
Of all things to blame, controls are the least.
They are so f—- fluid and unbelievably f—– responsive this comic isn’t really f—– funny in the f—- slightest.
Pardon my parody.
HAHA OH WOW. This isnt funny… nor is MegaMan Zero hard
I just feel like I have to say it again. This is an pretty awful comic series. It’s so flat and forgettable. I’m much more entertained by the strips’ accompanying blog posts.
Boring characters… stupid noob page design… the apparent inability to be funny or clever, aka bad writing… it’s a disaster. At least the art is passable… but only just.
Hello,
I’m the writer of that comic and I appreciate all the kind comments. Now the ugly comments I could probably do without, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just try and remember that we do our website in our spare time and aren’t getting paid, so you have to take what you get sometimes.
Anyways, thanks for linking our comic!

Or better yet, not take at all.
Kind comments? The best I see are neutral ones.
Just try to remember I criticize your website in my spare time and I’m not getting paid, so you have to take what you get sometimes.
Wow, tough crowd. At least some of the people at Capcom Unity seemed to like it.
Anyway, happy to do it, Dover. I think I saw a little of myself in that one, at least in the first panel.

ha ha also happens to me as well as to ZEROMAVERICK, I remember the first time I played megaman zero seemed a little hard but one day after I could handle it, and then, I will remember those things with zero megaman collection.
Aw, please. None of the MMZ games were THAT hard, despite everybody’s claims. Even without using Cyber-Elves, you can more or less dominate the whole game without losing more than a couple lives.
I think part of ‘difficulty’ in games comes from age and time. When I was in my early teens through mid twenties, games posed almost no challenge. Even the more difficult ones could be beaten with pattern memorization and perseverance, both of which take time.
Now that I’m in my 30′s (God, has it been that long), time is a luxury I don’t have anymore. Even the most average games give me fits since my skills have dulled. Not to say I don’t still enjoy gaming, I just have less time to give to it.
Wanna have some fun? Go fire up an old mega man or mario game on the NES. Remember how you used to walk through them no problem? Not anymore. You gotta retrain yourself to get the timings and edge back. It’s rough and an eye opener.
