The cover shows more Doctor Who love than Megaman love... so we know what show they watched while designing it:

Daniel Lind --

I don't think so. It's called the "original soundtrack" for a reason, and Capcom has no reason to include arranged tracks when they could make more money by releasing an AST. The fact that there's 46 tracks gives me a whole lot of hope that Mega Man 10 is a longer, meatier game than Mega Man 9, more in the vein of Mega Man 4-6 than 2. I'm holding fast to the hope that this is the case.

To this point, I've been disappointed in the expectation that Mega Man 10 would be nothing more than a redux of Mega Man 9, simplified mechanics and much shorter game length included. But Capcom already satiated their hard-on for Mega Man 2 with 9, so I'm really really hoping Capcom takes the opportunity to push the boundaries with Mega Man 10 and make it a bigger, more unique experience than just another Mega Man 2 redux.

The cover art for the Rockman 10 OST helps support my hopes too. The cover art for the Rockman 9 OST was little more than a giant 8-bit Mega Man sprite laid on top of a bunch of smaller 8-bit Mega Man sprites which, like pretty much all Mega Man 9-related media, just advertised the fact that Mega Man 9 was bringing things back to basics and a retro aesthetic. Mega Man 9 seemed to be mostly (or only) about that: bringing things back to basics, making another Mega Man 2. For that reason, Mega Man 9 didn't really have its own identity.

But with the Rockman 10 OST, you see a giant Mega Man and Proto Man standing above planet Earth with space as a backdrop, which immediately calls to mind the game's subtitle, "Threat from Outer Space." Again, this gives me hope that Capcom is really trying to make a NEW Mega Man game this time around, one with its own identity -- an identity apart from another remake of Mega Man 2, which is overrated anyway IMO.

Of course, I could just be overthinking things, and Mega Man 10 will have the same skeleton as Mega Man 9, re-skinned with new stages, music, cutscenes, and Robot Masters. I really hope not, though.

Though I have interest of purchasing this soundtrack but it the list seems a little shorter than it's last title. Also track #2; FUTURE WORLD seems very suspcious to me. . .it could mean something ya know.

The MM9 AST reminded me kinda of that Alph Lyla MMX AST, where it barely even resembles the original songs. I hope, as some have already, that the MM10 AST is more like the Complete Works arranged songs (that is, more true to the originals).

The only tracks I liked form MM9's arranged, were Flash in the Dark, Magma, Hornet, and Strange World... the rest sounded NOTHING like the real music.

Mega Man music only sounds good in rock and jazz

@Gurp The Megaman 9 AST was really good in it's own respect, but some of the tunes were just too warped for me. Nonetheless the whole soundtrack made it on my Zune.

The drawing contest layout tells me the game will be released well before the OST is released, not afterward, unless Capcom plans on spoiling what apparently is plot/game related- notice that one of the contest subjects is filled with question marks, which should tell people that they'll be drawing something they're not going to know about until they play the game, or Capcom reveals it. This day also happens to be a Monday, a day WiiWare games are released, and the first day that people would be able to see this hidden character for themselves (provided Capcom doesn't spill it first.)
