New Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom footage, Roll production art
Posted on December 15th, 2009 by Heat Man
Here’s two back-to-back three minute trailers for the upcoming Capcom fighting extravaganza, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars. The footage features both MegaMan Volnutt and Roll. I have to admit, while I’m not much of a fighting game fan, TvC is looking pretty cool!
Additionally, here’s some production artwork of Roll from Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom’s official blog.

LMFAO!!!! Roll’s Super at the end of the second video is AWESOME!!! Plus the picture of her there makes her look really badass!
DAT BUKKIT
Roll is too cute. XD
So Roll sets the enemy on fire and put them out with a comicaly large bucket of water. Looks like i’ll be buying this.
Jun The Swan got BURNED! And then Roll cooled her back down, lol.
Roll’s victory line makes a pun on “osou” (to attack) and “souji” (cleaning). How I’ve missed your Japanese voice-overs, Capcom.
The art on the right looks very close to her model art in the MegaMan Complete Works art book. Very cool!
Monkey D. Luffy-man is awesome.
Hm…
Roll needs more frills. |3 Frills = more badass.
Wait, what’s with the music in the video?
That’s a really great sketch of Roll. I love the style. *saves*
the first sketch does look cool and nice, but I would prefer if they also add some moe-ness into the sketch
NO
No more MOOOOOOOOOO-EH EH EH
I hate how the anime industry is injecting that shit everywhere, I can use a lot less of that. I don’t need more otaku pandering in my games.
Remember: Splash Woman was a creation of Dr. Light, who we know has created female robots in the past (Roll). I don’t see it in Wily to bother building a girl robot, if these new Robot Masters are his anyway.
We know he built the robots for Mega Man 2 and 7. We know he did NOT build the robots for Mega Man 1, 4, 6, and 9. Do we know if he was directly responsible for the construction of the robots in 3, 5, and 8? And what about Mega Man and Bass?
@Breakfast
We don’t really know if Wily built the robots in 6 or not. It was an international robot tournament but he ran the show as “Mr. X” so he could easily have set up the entire thing including the robots. The only ones where we know Wily did not create the robots was Mega Man 1, 4, and 9. 1 and 9 were Light’s creations and 4 was Cossack’s but he was forced to build them by Wily. As for 3 again it is unknown but it is assumed that he did. Although they could have been a joint effort of him and Light since he was working with Light again at the start of 3. Mega Man 5′s robot masters were assumed to be Wily creations since Dark Man was a creation of his. Mega Man 8′s bosses WERE his creations since he built them to house the “Evil Energy” that he discovered from the “meteorite” (they make reference to this in the game!). As for Mega Man and Bass, they were recruited by King (who we know was created by Wily) to be in his army so its assumed that they were already in the workforce with humans which means either they weren’t creations of Wily or he planted them in the workforce to be recruited (highly unlikely but anything’s possible). Except of course for Tengu Man and Astro Man who were Wily creations revived by King.
@Shake
(O_O”)A Oh, i am sorry, I didn’t know you (or anyone)hate moe-ness. But you do realize the normal Roll design contain a heapsload of moe-ness already. (I bet you going to end up punching a baby if you play megaman powered up)
that pic of roll on the left side makes her look like she is alot older…
theres also my favorite megaman character, Zero from mmx, i would have liked more the zero from gba/ds series but well zero is zero hehe, his specials are so damn awesome
