Get Ready to Make Your Voices Heard for Legends 3

It’s on.

Well, not just yet, but it will be soon.

For years now, fans of the Blue Bomber of the far-flung future have wanted to know just how they can make it perfectly clear to the suits at Capcom that yes, we do want a MegaMan Legends 3. And just a few hours ago, Capcom Community Manager Seth Killian responded to such an inquiry on the Capcom*Unity forums, stating that “Actually, we’re working on a way for you to be able to do just such a thing, and hope to have the new Unity feature available soon-ish.”

“The bad news,” he adds, “is that you’ll have to compete with the Powerstone 3 and RE: Outbreak psychos for attention! :D

“Seriously though,” he continues, “I know that having such a clear outlet is important, and we’re working on even more direct ways for you to let your voice be heard internally here at Capcom.”

So there you have it; you can stop trying to register domain names and put down your petitions; hopefully Capcom won’t keep us in too much suspense at the new Unity addition.

Naturally, we will keep you informed of anything we hear on the situation, and let you know when it is time for fans of Diggers, air pirates, and the like to rally together as one and make our voices heard.

    Legends is not connected to X guys, it’s MM > MMX > Z > ZX > ZXA

Legends is after ZXA or whatever series will follow that. It’s part of the main storyline. You can just look at the areas and certain environmental items in MMZ and MMZX/A to tell that.

Can you tell me where, cause I’m not seeing it

  4. Mega Man X Zero says:

Legends is in the far, far future of the original series. Like, millenia ahead of ZX.

There’s not much I’d ask for with Legends 3. Just try to keep as much of the controls the same (while, of course, making the graphics better). Also try to get as many of the original voices as possible, bring back familiar weapons (Active Buster, Machine Buster, Hyper Shell, Crusher, Drill Arm, Shining Laser), maybe add a little more functionality to the Mega Buster (as in keep it the normal rapid fire, or enable charging it or some other effect).

Lastly, let’s keep the Bonnes on the good guys’ side. I’d hate to see them invoke a Heel Face Revolving Door after they were helping rescue Mega Man at the end of the second game. Let Glyde or someone else be target practice now. Also hopefully Yuna and Sera don’t get shoved aside either, considering their importance.

Lastly, hopefully the writing is just as good now as it used to be. One of my favorite lines in Legends 2 is still “We may be pirates, but we’re not barbarians. We’ll let them keep the toilet paper.”, among the other gems the various characters (mostly Teisel) have said. As for if they’ll be able to get away with their other strange moments anymore… (and you know exactly the ones I mean)

I think Legends takes place in it’s own timeline, because if it took place thousands of years after X, Zero, and ZX, there would be a crapload of reploids everywhere, and it would be so futuristic, you go blind just thinking of how futuristic it might be, who knows for sure, it might even take place in the EXE timeline, possibly befor or after EXE, but definetly before Starforce, which is in the same timeline as EXE

Only one question about this. Where did you get that image? The one of Trigger in the post. Is that official art and why isn’t that in the gallery!

Hey guys, lets support the MML3, as a fan and a die hard player of this wonderful game, please do produce the MML3, we Filipino players have been waiting for this game for years already.we loved this game so mush.please here our voice….

According to the sourcebook, Rockman Perfect Memories, the Legends series takes place thousands of years after the ZX series. So its kinda hard to argue that it isn’t in it’s own timeline.
