New Videos of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom with Zero
It seems that we’re a tad late with this, but after IGN revealed that Zero was the final combatant in Anime vs. Video Games: Geeks Wage War– er, I mean, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, GameSpot provided some new videos of the crimson Reploid showing the world what he brings to the dance.
First up, Zero joins with fellow “they saved us for last” fighter Joe the Condor to show Frank West what war is and make the other Joe a little less Viewtiful:
Next up, things get mixed up a bit; Condor and Frank West join up, while a blue-armored Zero pairs off with Tekkaman Blade:
…yeah, that didn’t go so well.
Next: it’s a battle between Zero and Roll, joined by Tekkaman Blade and Batsu, respectively. Zero’s wearing blue again so you can tell them apart:
And finally, as a bonus: Frank West gets crazy with the Servbot heads on Joe the Condor, but lucks out just as Zero calls down the fire.
Thanks to Protodude for turning the lights on here. Now, how many new moves can you spot?

I think that Kobun combo made my early morning!
This is basically what every Smash Bros. fan could hope for. I am so in love with this game and I can’t wait!
Ha ha, Zero’s a real rotter in the third video, stealing Roll’s power pellet three times! Oh, and I thought every Smash Bros. fan was hoping Krystal would be playable in Brawl, Proto Stryker. :p
xDDDD OMG, these videos are awesome!! I want to play this game ASAP!
But I think Roll doesn’t fit in this game… Zero VS Roll was so comical… xD
What the fudge is up with the “Give your age to view” garbage? >_<
Talking to Fireman, he’s pretty certain he’s seen all of these moves of Zero’s in the various videos:
Shippuga(X4)
Hienkyaku(X4)
Ryuenjin(X4)
Dark Hold(X5)
Sentsuizan(X6)
Hadangeki(X7)
Tenshoha (X8)
And of course, the Z Buster and Z Saber.
daaaaamn Zero looks amazing…. i still wish he could be in smash but this will suffice ^^
Too bad they never considered Zero’s CM moves, those would’ve been interesting, and balance the X4 tidbit.. borrowing his Z-Raiper and Twin Heat Hazer combo (let’s see how many combo’s he’ll get from that!) lol.
Great game but…crap music
The super where he smacks the ground, seriously sucks. Looks just as useless as Joe’s Sexy Silvia (in other words, it is probably only useful for after a Variable counter or with an assist).
And nintendo didn’t put Zero on brawl because?? *kidding*
lol, Zero keep stealing Roll’s healing energy ball
Okay, First of all, even Zero’s alternate colours look badass, super sweet. Second, Zero vs Roll? LOL very cute….poor poor Roll no healing for you. Third, YES to all of you posting on this thread, Mega Man characters absolutely should have been in Brawl, however I stand by my opinion that in Smash Bros. they should use classic series Mega Man characters (like Mega Man, Roll, Proto Man, etc). They just fit the aesthetics of Smash better (yes I know Snake’s in Smash but then I never felt that he really fit Smash’s frame either). X series characters like Zero definetley fit a game like this one better (a little more street fighter-ish).
That is awesome, they have zero in his X style armor and his trademark moves!
I’m still disappointed with the fact that X has never showed up in a crossover game though
Yeah, me too.
