Soundtrack coming with first print of RockRock/IHX value pack

A100017891010Yes, yes, we already reported about the Rockman Rockman/Irregular Hunter X value pack and its included soundtrack releasing in Japan. But back then we didn’t know how the bonus soundtrack would be handled. Today e-Capcom makes it clear: the soundtrack is coming with every initial print of the game. What does this mean? It means that if you want to import the value pack from Play-Asia or the like, there’s a good probability you’ll be getting the soundtrack too. Just remember to pre-order if you want to secure it!

However, some fairly depressing news is coming from Famitsu. According to their report, the soundtrack will only contain a total of 30 tracks, presumably from both games. So you definitely won’t be getting the entire score from both games, most likely select tunes such as stages and boss battles. But on the other hand, the sweet jacket art for the CD sleeve might still make it worth it.

I don’t care if the soundtrack is missing tracks, they will probably have my favorites.
And I’m still buying it in case they decide to finish making the sequels based on the sales.

There is no reason why they shouldn’t have all the songs on one cd…unless its just too much information…Or its too expensive for Capcom.

  4. Heat Man says:

I’m sure Capcom is trying to cut costs. After all, these PSP games don’t have a history of selling well.

Heck, I’m almost sold again, just going by the cover art!
