Ryuusei no Rockman Official Complete Works is out. People are buying it. And if you’ve been wanting to check out what the book holds, we’ve got some exclusive photos of the contents to show you.
The book is pretty standard as far as the Official Complete Works series goes. It may be understandable why, when the book was first announced, it was tentatively named Ryuusei no Rockman 3 Official Complete Works – pretty much the first two thirds of the book are dedicated to that one title. Numerous pages are devoted to not just showing artwork, but slices of various levels of detail of that artwork. There’s also plenty of unused stuff, such as Pirate and Angel Tribe forms.
But, you’re probably just impatient for the goods. Below are 12 photographs from the book. Don’t want to get too in depth for people planning on buying the book, and since Star Force 3 still isn’t out yet, but I managed to still get some pretty cool contents. Enjoy!

Man, it’s a pity I don’t speak Japanese. This book looks interesting.
I wish I’d taken Japanese class.
Mwahaha, there actually was a Pirate Tribe concept. The way people complain about Tribe King’s design, I wonder how convoluted it would have looked with a pirate and an angel thrown in on top of the other three. LOL
Looks very nice. I’m especially loving those images on the last scan. The pic with Masa, Iceman and Rock.EXE is very intriguing, the Apollon Flame/Auriga General/Burai one looks incredible, and the rest are just as beautiful. I’m very glad it got the large format now that I’ve seen these samples. Thank you for the preview.
originally i wasn’t very interested in this book, but these scans might’ve just changed my mind
Got my copy from japan this morning too!
Its a nice addition to my collection, I have R20, Zero, & the EXE artbook (blue cover with Mega Bass & Proto, forget its name right now), & this is the usual high-quality you can expect & its a cool addition to the library.
Highly recommended for any Mega/Rockman fan!
Who are the noise forms in the first scan’s top left and middle right panels based on? And in the second panel… what are those transformations?
On another note, this is some interesting stuff… is that Sonia’s mom on her scan? That page with what I assume to be previous designs for Geo is also interesting to look at…
Are we going to be getting this over here in the US any time soon?
Those look really good. Unfortunately I have no way to get the book, so I’ll have to hope a friend picks it up or something.
You don’t need to know Japanese to look at an Art Book.
Please post pictures of the pirate and angel tribes I’ve just got to see those. I wont be able to get my own copy of the book unfortunately.
@Falcro: Top left is Ophiuchus and middle right is Corvus in that scan. And yes, that is Misora’s mom.
For anyone still interested in buying it other than through Amazon.jp, I was grateful to be tipped off that Hobby Link Japan has it in stock, and a little cheaper in price, too. Just ordered my copy tonight:

Another option at least, until they pop up on eBay.
Does the book have a page for Tsukasa/Pat, too?
Would anyone here be gracious enough, and perhaps scan all the pages? I know its a lot to ask for, but you’d be making many Ryuusei fans happy!
That picture tells me that we haven’t seen the last of Mega Man E-X-E.
First of all, thanks so much for the preview!
Based on the releases of other Mega Man Official Complete Works books, how likely is it that this book will be translated and released in the United States? In the case that it’s localized, when might it become available? Sometime after the U.S. release of Star Force 3?
awsome! they already have one in english:D
I want it!
